EXTRACTION
Our fully automated CEP (Continuous Extraction Process) is engineered to extract approximately 300 pounds of biomass per hour, utilizing a cold ethanol method. From each supersack to decarboxylated and de-gassed crude oil, expect the purest output at a large scale.
DISTILLATION
Distillation is the purification of hemp-derived crude oil through the regulation of heat and pressure. The differences in boiling points of the cannabinoids and other organic compounds, allow us to be able to clean up the crude oil, so that the end product is an amber gold distillate, filled with CBD and many other minor cannabinoids.
CRYSTALLIZATION & ISOLATION
Isolation is the removal of Cannabidiol (CBD) using the chemical process of crystallization. We use this method to isolate CBD from distillate. The final product is a fine white powder that’s 99% pure CBD.
CHROMATOGRAPHY: REMEDIATION
Chromatography is a method of separation and the isolation of compounds and cannabinoids using their differences in polarity. At Hau Processing, we use the separation techniques of centrifugal partition chromatography (CPC) provided by Rotochrom. With our industrial sized CPC unit, full-spectrum CBD distillate is pumped through, and THC remediation occurs. The out is THC-Free distillate; tested at non-detect.
